Overview

GlasRoc® Sheathing Infinaé™ CarbonLow™ is an advanced exterior drywall sheathing panel engineered for sustainability and durability. Featuring up to 60% lower embodied carbon (cradle-to-gate), compared to traditional gypsum, it sets a new standard in environmentally responsible construction. Available in 1/2" (12.7 mm) and 5/8" Type X (15.9 mm) thicknesses, the panel consists of a non-combustible gypsum core reinforced with fiberglass face and back mats, offering exceptional resistance to mould, moisture, and fire. Designed for exterior sheathing and soffit applications, GlasRoc Infinaé CarbonLow is approved for use in UL/ULC fire-rated assemblies, and is compatible with EIFS, stucco systems, traditional cladding, and air barrier assemblies. It is GREENGUARD Gold certified and meets key building codes including IBC, IRC, and NBCC. Recommended uses include commercial and residential projects with sustainability goals or lower carbon emission requirements. It is a tested air barrier material per ASTM E2178 and can be used in conjunction with air barrier components as part of an assembly per ASTM E2357. It is also approved as a substrate for major EIFS manufacturers, stucco systems, exterior ceilings, soffits, and curved applications.
